Volunteer
An important and valued part of the North Wales Lib Dems delivering change across North Wales.
Across North Wales, our communities are crying out for change. Your local Lib Dem teams are ready to deliver on peoples' priorities like fixing social care, cleaning up our rivers and seas, extending free childcare and supporting our small businesses to grow than thrive.
Knock Doors and Speak to other Local People
The Role
To have conversations with residents, find-out their priorities for their community, speak about Lib Dem plans, and work in the community.
Days and Times
Various evenings (17:30-19:30) and weekends (Saturdays and Sundays mornings and afternoons) please complete the volunteer form and we will let you know upcoming volunteering opportunities.
Experience
Good interpersonal skills, smart appearance, must enjoy meeting/conversing with the public. Knowledge of the Lib Dems and local issues would be an advantage but training and support will be provided.
Deliver Leaflets
The Role
Deliverers help us get our message out to residents about our values, priorities and what we have been doing in the community. They need to be fit enough to walk long distances (sometimes on hills) and can either deliver locally to them (once per month - outside election time) or travel to deliver as part of a team.
Days and Times
Monthly for about an hour in your street
Or
Wednesdays (Daytime) or Saturdays (Mornings)
Experience
Fit enough to walk long distances for about an hour, tackle the hills of Vales, and carry a bundle of leaflets. Not afraid of a little rain and prepared to deal with the occasional dog.
Display a Poster
The Role
This can either be a window poster or a garden poster encouraging people to vote Lib Dem by displaying support.
Days and Times
The 6 weeks before the election.
Experience
None! There's no better time to start showing support for the first time.
